Update to incident at Ecole Mountainview

On February 29, 2024, police received a report of an alleged assault on a child at Ecole Mountainview.

The Terrace RCMP immediately began an investigation, keeping safety of everyone a priority, in cooperation with the school and the district.

The evidence obtained does not reflect what was reported to the police.

We wish to inform the public that there is no public safety concern in relation to this report.
