Man charged during stolen vehicle investigation

A Kamloops man is facing one count of possession of stolen property following an arrest by the Kamloops RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (CRU).

On Tuesday Feb. 14, 2023, CRU police officers located a green Dodge pickup truck reported as stolen from Pinantan on Feb. 9, 2023. A suspect was arrested nearby on the 900-block of Jasper Avenue.

The suspect was held in custody and charge recommendation approval was received the next day, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. He was held for a bail hearing and remanded in custody.

Mark Aaron Schulz, 35, of Kamloops is scheduled for court later today, Feb. 28, 2023.
