The search for 45-year-old missing person Sara Sherry has not been successful.
Despite lengthy and extensive searching of the logging roads and vast back country south of Highway 19 and Northwest Bay Logging Road in Nanoose Bay, searchers have not located Sara Sherry.
Sara Sherry was reported missing to police on February 17, 2024 and her vehicle was last seen driving onto the logging roads off of Northwest Bay Logging Road south of Highway 19 on the evening of February 15, 2024. Sara’s unoccupied vehicle was located on February 23, 2024 on a logging road approximately twenty kilometres south of Highway 19.
Multiple air and ground searches leading from the area where Sara Sherry’s vehicle was located have not been successful in locating Sara and no further searches are planned.
Investigators have not received any other leads or information about Sara’s whereabouts and neither family or friends have had any contact with her since February 15.
Our missing person investigation remains open and active with Sara’s family receiving ongoing updates from investigators and support from Victim Services,
