Sea to Sky property crime spree sees a slew of charges laid

Between May 2nd 2022 and June 17th, 2022, Justin COLBY and Raven GRAHAM were involved in a series of break and enters, thefts from vehicles and credit card fraud throughout southern British Columbia, including the Sea to Sky corridor.

Sea to Sky RCMP – General Investigation Section assumed conduct of the investigations which included coordinating approximately 26 police files across Whistler and Pemberton. Sea to Sky RCMP – GIS worked closely with partners in other jurisdictions including Stl’Atl’Imx Tribal Police Service, West Vancouver Police Department, Vancouver Police Department, Integrated Police Dog Services, Integrated Forensic Identification Services, Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime Team as well as numerous RCMP detachments including Creston, Merritt, Coquitlam and Surrey.

In late January, 33 charges were sworn against COLBY and GRAHAM including Dangerous Driving, Flight from Peace Officer, Fraud, Mischief, Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property, Theft under $5000 and Theft of Motor Vehicle.

This crime spree affected many people in our community. We are pleased to see that our hard work in putting all the pieces together has resulted in numerous charges against two prolific property crime offenders says NCO i/c of Sea to Sky RCMP – GIS, Sgt. Jeff SHORE.
