Police hope to reunite property with their owners

Coquitlam RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in reuniting found property to their rightful owners.

Found property is routinely turned in to local police stations in the hopes of reuniting them with their owners. Police attempt to locate the owners through course of an investigation, but sometimes can not reunite the items.

Coquitlam RCMP is hoping to reunite the following items with their owners:

Coquitlam RCMP File: 2022-32507

Two wakeboards: One wakeboard is white, blue and black and the second is white with red, purple and pink feathers.

Police recovered two wakeboards which had been located in the bushes behind Traffic Safety Zone located at 1605 Industrial Avenue in Port Coquitlam on Friday, December 9, 2022. It is believed that the items had been stolen and stashed in the bushes.

Gold wedding band ring

On Thursday, December 15, 2022 a gold wedding band was turned into the Ridgeway Community Police Office located at 1059 Ridgeway Avenue in Coquitlam. The ring had been located on December 5, 2022 near Maillard Middle School located at 1300 Rochester Avenue in Coquitlam.

Thin Silver-coloured ring with small stones

On Wednesday, December 28, 2022 a silver ring was turned into the Coquitlam RCMP main detachment located at 2986 Guildford Way. The ring had been located on a walking trail around Lafarge Lake located at 1299 Pinetree way in Coquitlam the same day.

Recovered jewellery consisting of five items including necklaces and a pendant

Police recovered five jewelry items which had been located together outside Safeway located at 2850 Shaughnessy Street in Port Coquitlam on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. It is believed that the items had been dropped near the store in the months prior to being turned into police.

On Thursday, January 26, 2023 Police attended the Mary Hill Community Police Office located at 2581 Mary Hill Road for a found ring. The ring had been located on November 2, 2022 near the covered picnic table area at Lions park located at 2300 Lions Way in Port Coquitlam.

Coquitlam RCMP Frontline officers recovered a suitcase full of family photographs located in the treeline near the industrial area parking lot near 1482 Broadway Street in Port Coquitlam on Monday, January 29, 2023.

The rightful owner will be required to provide ownership by providing police with details of the item(s) as well as any other identifying marks. If you believe any of these items are yours, please contact the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote the associated file number.
