Police looking for suspect in tool theft

Prince George RCMP is looking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a recent theft of tools from a local hardware store.
The theft occurred on Monday, January 2, 2023, from a store located on the 5900-block of O’Grady Road. Surveillance shows the man loading a Milwaukee Chop Saw and two Dewalt Combo kits into a shopping cart and leaving the store with them.
The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian male
- Balding
- 5’6 – 5’10
- Slender build
The total value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $1500. We are asking the public to contact the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 if they recognize the man from the surveillance image provided, or else if they see any of these items for sale in town or on online marketplaces,
