From October 9-17, 2023, Creston RCMP responded to 79 calls for service, and here are the highlights:
October 9th
- Police located an e-bike and were able to return it to its owner.
October 10th
- Officers located a man driving while prohibited. Officers impounded his vehicle and will be forwarding charges.
October 12th
- Police attended a motor vehicle incident in Crawford Bay with minor injuries.
- An officer was on patrol when a vehicle cut the officer off when turning left and nearly caused a collision. The officer conducted a traffic stop and found the driver to be impaired by alcohol. The driver was charged and the vehicle was impounded.
October 14th
- An officer located a man driving while prohibited. The vehicle was impounded and the man was charged.
October 17th
- Police attended a disturbance at a local residence. Officers de-escalated the two parties and separated them. They agreed to have no further contact with each other.
