The Sunshine Coast RCMP are seeking witnesses after a violent assault on a man.

On Sunday March 19th, 2023 at approximately 2:00 p.m police received a report that an assault had occurred at a residence in the 400 block of King Rd, Gibsons BC. The man was transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services.

There is no information to suggest any ongoing risk to the public at this time.
Anyone who may have witnessed this assault, or who may have video surveillance in the area of the 400 block of King Rd and Hough Rd is asked to call Sunshine Coast RCMP at 604-885-2266. Please quote file number 2023-1696.
