Contact Sunshine Coast RCMP

To report a crime currently in progress or for immediate police assistance please call 9-1-1.

The RCMP does not accept reports of crime via email.

Note:

For Emergency assistance call 9-1-1. Non-emergencies call: (604) 885-2266

The Sunshine Coast Detachment provides 24 hour police service. For those who attend the Detachment after business hours they are directed to pick up the phone to the left of the front doors to connect with a police dispatcher who will assist them.

When people call the detachment after business hours they are greeted by an automated service. If it is an emergency they are directed to hang up and dial 911. If the matter is not an emergency but the person requires police service they are prompted to press #1 to connect with the Dispatcher.

Any messages left on the detachment's general voicemail service will be checked on the next business day.

Sechelt, BC, V0N 3A0

Phone: (604) 885-2266

Office hours:

This reduction of hours will only affect services provided by the Sechelt RCMP detachment front counter such as walk-in enquiries, Personal Information Check (PIC), etc. Unfortunately, this temporary reduction of front counter service was necessary due to a number of vacancies in our administrative support staff.

As mentioned on social media, the Sunshine Coast RCMP is looking for talented people to fill our full time administrative support positions at the Sechelt RCMP Detachment. Police administrative support staff plays an important role by providing front counter services and ensuring your local RCMP runs efficiently.
